Salvador Dali Sculptures – New Exhibit

We are very excited to announce the arrival of a collections of spectacular sculptures to Vancouver this summer. Two large-scale original Salvador Dali sculptures are placed on public display for the enjoyment of all residents and guests to the city. One of the new sculptures, Woman Aflame, stands tall at nearly 12 feet, 3.60 meters high and takes the place of Dance of Time, the iconic melting clock which stood at the entrance to Lot 19 in 2017. THE DEFINITELY DALÍ PROJECT
The annual Definitely Dalí Project has grown in momentum since Chali-Rosso Art Gallery had their first Salvador Dalí sculpture exhibition in 2014. The gallery will kick off this year’s exhibition with a very special event. From May 5th till September, Vancouverites and visitors of the city will have the opportunity to freely enjoy the iconic masterpiece by Salvador Dalí titled the Woman Aflame. This awe inspiring work of art will be unveiled at Lot 19, in the unique public space on West Hastings, at the foot of Hornby Street. To compliment the almost 12 foot tall installation, just a few steps away, Chali-Rosso Art Gallery will host another large-scale sculpture, the Surrealist Piano, and a free exhibition of over 20 gallery sized sculptures and fine art by Salvador Dalí, as well as other historic European artists including Picasso, Chagall, Miro, Matisse, Warhol and Lichtenstein.
