The majority of the works of art in the Chali-Rosso Collection belong to the gallery. We do however, accept quality works on consignment if and only if they can be verified as authentic works by the artist. Any receipts of sale and Certificate of Authenticity the current owner has would be considered helpful, but will not be the sole determining factor in authenticating the artwork.
Once authenticity has been determined, we will establish fair market value based on a number of international sources including auction records.
If the artwork requires framing or re-framing for presentation in the gallery, the cost of the framing will be charged equally to the consignor and the consignee. In the event that the consignor elects to remove the artwork from the gallery and cancel the consignment policy, the consignor will be required to pay the entire cost of the framing.
The term of the agreement can run between 3 to 12 months. The gallery will insure the item for the duration of the term but it is recommended that the consignor also retain property insurance on the item.
