Chali-Rosso Art Gallery offers a unique opportunity to host your private event in a 3,200 square foot, street level, open-concept venue located in a prime location in Vancouver City Center. This spacious venue offers mingling room for up to 150 guests amongst walls adorned with original artwork by legendary masters Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, Marc Chagall and Joan Miro.

To ensure the best availability, we recommend booking a minimum of 14 days in advance. Bookings during Peak Season (Dec. 1-31) a longer lead time is recommended.

Special arrangements for non-profit and art related organizations.
Arrangements can be made in house, for a selection of cold appetizers, please inquire for more details. Full service catering and equipment rental option is available upon request. You are welcome to engage the caterer and equipment rental of your choice.
The host of the special event must apply for a Special Occasion Liquor Licence through City of Vancouver. Chali-Rosso Art Gallery cannot apply on the host’s behalf.
Licence Costs are as follows:
• Private Special Occasion: $25.00 per day

INSURANCE AND EVENT LICENCING
A non-refundable fee of $75 insurance fee will be added to the venue cost to cover any unlikely damages that may accrue on property as well.
Once a date has been confirmed for your private function a deposit of 40% of the rental fee is required to confirm your booking.
A fully refundable damage deposit of $1000 is required two weeks before event.
PAYMENT IN FULL
Full payment is due 14 days prior to the day of your event. If there is an outstanding balance, payment is required on the evening of the event unless arrangements have been made at the time of booking.
All major credit cards, debit cards or cheques are accepted.
If a cancellation occurs 7+ days before the day of your event, a 60% refund will be issued for the rental of the venue, and a 75% refund will be issued for the catering/equipment rentals. If a cancellation occurs less than 7 days before the day of your event, no refund will be issued. It is possible to reschedule an event for 100% of the payment, depending on availability.
SET-UP TIME & TAKE-DOWN TIME
The hours you book are to include set-up and take-down time as well, please add additional time to your event booking. Example: if your event is 4 hours long we recommend booking an additional hour for setup and take down. Larger set ups may be booked for the evening prior to the event.
It is the responsibility of the renter to leave the venue in the same condition they received it in. If catering or equipment rental is arranged in house, Chali-Rosso Art Gallery will be responsible for the timely return of these items. If catering or equipment rental is arranged by the renter, all rented items must be removed at the end of the event.
Overtime due to client/vendors/contractors departing late will be billed at $120 per half hour.
There are several parking options within a one block radius of the gallery and street parking is also available. Bus and Skytrain station is a very short walk from the gallery. For freight loading and unloading, there is a loading dock located on site, please discuss at time of booking.
