Marc Chagall writes about his relation to the Bible: “Since childhood the Bible has fascinated me, I always thought of it as the greatest source of poetry of all times. I have continued to seek out its reflection in life and arts. The Bible is like a musical vibration of nature and I have tried to communicate that secrete and made these paintings to keep that far away dream. I wanted to leave them in this house that people can experience a certain peace and spirituality, a sense of life. These paintings how I conceived them do not represent a dream of one person but all mankind. The love I feel to all mankind will be uttered, and there will be no enemies. In my paintings I have hidden my love.“ Certificate of Authenticity is included
